Quarantine Poem
This poem i wrote in mexico during the midst of the quarantine over there. I know alot of people were thinking 100 different things, one of them being this world is coming to an end. Rather than focus on the negative i tried focusing on the beauty of things. Endings are often beautiful, not saying that i want things to end but seeing things from a less negative perspective always puts you in a better state of well being. Kid cudi said the sky might fall, the sky might fall but im not worried at all. That's exactly how i felt. At the end of the day if it was, What could you do about it?
I know that the future is uncertainBut even if they close bordersThey won't be able to close the open sea
We'll leave soonTo leave our footprints on the groundAbove the snow clouds
Under the lakes of heaven
To feel the sun that vaccinates us next to the water that wets usI descend to waterfalls that cry in front of a jungle of leavesAmongst the deflowered forests of different sizesThe rainbows that paint the seasons
Like the colors of the clothes in full motion
Hanging on the balconies to be driedBy the wind and the look of the story that wants to continue telling that
Even though we fight we understand each other ... dancing
