What y'all Fake caring about today?

    This was the first spoken word poem that I've ever done. It's so relatable nowadays in the age of technology and social media. Our values have become distorted and dictated by other people. Social media is a useful thing, yes of course but a lot of the stuff people say they care about they sincerely don't. Virtue signaling is becoming a part of everyday western society. You wanna show that you're a good person, well do it, be one. But ask yourself are those cares really you? Or can you only love yourself when someone tells you to?
